Why a Poem?

A poem speaks when words limit,
when soul overflows,mind stills,
moments of gurkirpa,lords divine will-
when Guru himself fills elixir, moorakh drinks.

Floods my eyes with water....the feeling that flows off this poem is so pure.

It also reminds me of one of my super-favourite poem, which I'd love to sare with you. Although this poem is a different spirit than your poetry, as yours is MEANT to be shared. This poem I'll mention is for people like me, people with uselessly private and weak poetic excursions..lol

Poems from Someone You Know by Dorothy Marshall

Poems from someone you know
are a responsibility
like confidences told over kitchen tables
on rainy afternoons

An offering with hands cupped
around a fragile beauty
letting you in for a look

Received and accepted, but held carefully
lest the vulnerabilities are touched too harshly
and like fragile crystal
are shattered into pieces
